Cool. (Although, hey NYT Science writer, I think the scientists are positing changes over millenia, not generations, so hold off on the "we'll evolve to subsist on a diet of chocolate and whip cream" for a little while longer, maybe. Sigh.)

Yeah, um, not to be snarking, but I find the NYT science reporting to be a little dumbed down, in general.

Maybe this explains my skinny Japanese friend who eats so much white rice.
I've really wondered about that. My body goes haywire on white rice. It works for her. Maybe we have some kind of evolved difference.
