I Am A Lying Sack of Shit

Y'all.

Do you know what happens when you image Google "space suit chimp"? You get Planet of the Apes stills, you get really sad pictures of Enos the first chimp in space, and you get one absolutely horrifying thing. Either way, you are forced to confront the total lack of ethics humans exhibit toward other primates. And are left with a lot of unanswered questions about the utility of the space program in this day and age.

So there will be no cosmonaut chimpanzee to bring you this.

Yeah. I don't even fucking know either.

I wish the lines would get reassuringly darker, but they aren't complying. Waiting on beta #1 (can you believe somebody won't just take my word for it and order me up an ultrasound? The audacity!).

Eek.

UPDATED TO ADD: If you are a family member, or are dating a family member, please please please keep this on the down-low when it comes to the rest of the family (like, um, parents). Y'all get the Inside Edition, and I'm not ready to take it to the front page of the Times, know what I'm sprayin'?

Awwwwwwwesome!!! S will get to be a big sister AND have a sibling + close in age cousin to boss around and do her bidding - Man, I am stoked for BOTH of you!! All of you!!

WOW!

Now THAT was a surprise. Sheesh!

Bits crossed for a happy outcome from that annoyingly faint second line. Whoa. Still reeling from the shock.

So exciting!

Dude. DUDE.

Dude.

:D

Nothing like making plans to get your body to surprise you. Fingers crossed for an optimum beta.

How 'bout them apples? Give that woman a beta and u/s stat!

Woot!!! That's a line, all right! Wishing you excellent numbers and all that. I had a very very similar looking stick 8 months ago and, well, it seems to have been telling the truth. Hoping very much that yours does as well!

WOWZA! Yeah, a line is a line.

see what happens when you just relax?

maca laca hi maca hiney ho....

Wheeeee & Hooray!

Yes please on the beta and u/s. Also, WOW Kateri.

Ha! Yes, thats a line. Eeeeeexcellent! God luck w/ beta and u/s.

(also, I am going to Nashville until the 5th. Need me to keep an eye out for anything while I am down there?)

Yippee! I'm already excited about the next birth story. Get gestating, woman!

Holy shit!! :-)

All appendages crossed.

Holy Laika, Jo! That's way more unexpected than a space monkey, and far more exciting.

Hoping to see more very good news in this space when I get back on Monday. C'mon, good numbers!

(In case you don't know: Kateri is joking! We are IRL friends!)

Well, it looks like a line. What cycle day are you on? And dude, with the PCOS, did you O on like CD 32 or some craziness like that where they'll tell you with your LMP date that your beta is too low, cuz, uhhh, that's always fun to explain the female reproductive system's lack of CD14 ovulation to a medical professional.
So, a line is great and all, but really, we need some cycle details and a fricken' beta.

How exciting!!!!!

For the record, that's not a faint "is it a line" sort of line...very clear!!!!

I hope they get your beta and progesterone run quickly and results back to you fast.

Congrats!

Ok so I am Lisa's friend Janean and I totally feel like I know you even though I really, really don't but I just wanted to say HOLY COW that is FANTIDDILYASTIC. :-) Eeep!

Mine stayed light for about 4 days...then they darkened up real good at some point and, you know what?...I still kept peeing on sticks until my ultrasound at 8!! weeks.

Verrrrrrrrrrrry interesting. Fingers crossed.

OH MAN!! How in the world did I miss this? Of course, I know :-( dissertation and stuff.

anyway!!! YAY!!! WOW!!! OK, let me read the most recent stuff.
