If anyone should be in charge of raising strong, independent, creative women, it should be you.
XOXO

YA FOR GIRLS! I have two little girls, so much stinkin fun! Congrats., I am assuming that all else is also well?
Posted by: Kate | August 14, 2008 at 06:26 PM
Um, I also am assuming that all else is also well. Midwives haven't gone over the full report yet, but everything seemed normal enough on cursory inspection (and I didn't get the scary vibe from the tech or from the office staff at the midwives').
So, yay! And thank you!

YAy...sisters are awesome, and the world is so in need fo women who will have been raised to be clear headed and confident; so it's like you are on a mission.
I can't remember if i have actualyl ever commented or not, but i have been reading since back when we were all guessing what Sophia would be ( and I was so suprised that she was a little girl...) Best wishes

Well of course it is. There is something just so right about that. Congratulations.

OH, a GIRL! That's just...one of the TWO BEST KINDS to have! Congratulations!
I'm newly pregnant, and since I have three boys, everyone right away insists it MUST BE A GIRL.
I am flummoxed by the universal insistance that I must now have a girl. A girl would be amazing (and scary, to be honest), but it's not like a boy would be just the same old thing. I've never had THIS child, be it girl or boy.
I have to agree with the earlier commenter who says that you are an ideal person to be raising future women, though. Rock on, mama.

Oh, how exciting!! Two girls, lots of savings on clothes. The possibility of matching clothes... nah, I guess you wouldn't go *that* far (I shamelessly do it, however...).

Frankly, I was looking forward to Jo's Adventures in Raising a Boy. That would've been some good reading. :) But this will be too! Hooray for healthy!
