Sophia's lip on Thursday evening (the day of the injection):
And then on Saturday night:
I'm pretty sure (after doing some Google research) that she just chewed on her lip while it was numb. Might have been nice to have a warning about that.
In addition to meeting with a lawyer in the coming week, I plan to take her to another dentist (or possibly her pediatrician) to see if they can tell if anything else was done. And definitely to the ped if that lip looks infected (apparently it can sometimes develop into cellulitis).
And then soon, I promise, we can talk about fun things again. Like, oh, HEAD LICE. And how I had to eat 3/4 of Daphne's Halloween candy, because what business does a 21-month-old have with a Bit-o-Honey?
